Welcome to my Potopic site.
Steam locos have been a love of mine since I was a boy but my interest in steam loco photography started about 20 years ago when a friend at work introduced me to the spectacular Settle Carlisle line. All my work has been on 35mm slide up until about 8 years ago when for one reason and another I didn’t get on the line at all for some time, but now my interest has been reborn. Most of my collection on this site has been taken with a Fuji Finepix 4700 and from Nov 04 with a Fuji Finepix S5500 digital camera, I now also use video so some of my pictures are video stills - these are identified by the picture number starting with a V.
